Give That Kid an "A"

I gave my students the assignment of writing a narrative to illustrate a particular picture. The pictures were silly, and they had to come up with a logical story for that picture. Their choices were a mouse peeking out of a Swiss cheese hole, a kangaroo on a leash in a grocery store, and Roscoe looking forlorn under a pile of torn up "eggcrate" foam.



C decided to write about Roscoe, and this is one of the lines in his story:

"My owner is Mrs. W, and she is very pretty."

Don't you think he deserves an A?
