Procrastination, Hydrangeas, and the World's Cutest Niece

I was talking to a friend at church this morning about blogging. She commented that I had been quite the blogger lately with all my posts. She also noted that she had a few posts rattling around in her head but hadn't had time to get them posted yet. I said it's easier to blog about one's life when you don't actually have one, but if you have a life, you don't have time to write about it.

She then pointed out that I would have a life if I stopped procrastinating with my blog and actually got my work done.

She's a smart one. In my defense, blogging doesn't take that long. And I got four assignments done today.

So I leave you with two things recently downloaded off my compact flash card . . .

I love my hydrangeas. When you have two large dogs, no gardening skills whatsoever, and no real desire to invest in a garden, beauty is hard to come by in the backyard. Which makes these even more amazing. They just show up every year, a gorgeous spot of color in an otherwise trampled yard.

And here's another spot of beauty. This is the world's cutest niece.

Have to agree with you on the world's cutest niece. Amazingly enough, she's also the world's cutest granddaughter.
